Wasn't sure exactly where to post this.. but it just needs to be prevented. Is there some sort of way, to have some sort of system that notifies you like via e-mail if someone is hosting a server that isn't authorized? It'd be nice if you could do that, and include keys that are involved with it. People that have these servers without your permission should be punished, if you haven't done so already. Because otherwise, it'll continue, and it'll get worse.

Though, with the coming of Terulia, it won't be a problem since everyone and their mother won't have the host files then.

Yeah, people playing on these servers get banned from main and Terulia. Something like this should be heavily enforced I believe. Honestly, we've seen that people's honor and character around here is not something to rely on.

In game experimentation on the official servers. It's amazing what you can find out with a little ingenuity, some free time, and access to almost every weapon and armor type in the game.

Hell, once you break down the 'system', he found out how much defense you would get from items that don't exist!

If he has exact numbers, he got the data from hacked saves. The only numbers you're aware of in-game is your level and your proficiency, all other factors are black-boxed, making it mathematically impossible to get exact numbers unless you know the damage formulae.

Being able to say which gives the best defense from average end results, that is legit.

i even sent gaku what I had to help him balance ffo (which he isn't even going to do)

because im sure that was quinto's goal in his private server right? making a private server to find out things so you have an advantage.... i already owned every domain in vorg and ruled the game with my friends. i didn't need an advantage.

and you CAN come up with special numbers by testing things like damage.

create and test your OWN formulas. if you have no armor on you're seeing the raw damage of that weapon, you know.

if you create standards and test against them you can create the stats in a table yourself. wizard staff breaks through all the defense of an archwizard set AND adds xxxx amount of damage? wow what a hard test to take the armor off and see how much it affects it

oh and making your own formulas to test the defense on armor (gaku told us himself how it works, remember?) isn't hard at all.
