So yeah, this has been going on for at least a month. The forums are constantly slow as **** or not loading at all. I always have to refresh. Even making this post has been a chore and a half.

Can others post to confirm this? I know it's not just me. I hear others complain about it all the time.

I am constantly having issues with it. It's constantly saying, Terulia is taking to long to respond, or could not connect to Terulia. Even typing posts recently has gotten laggy for me really. It has really become kind of a pain to use this forum.

I don't have a SS of it, but I get pretty much that same screen every, oh I dunno, 10-20% of the time I click a link on the forums.

NINJA EDIT: coincidentally, got that page as I was clicking Preview for this very post.

What I meant to post:

I'm pretty sure we all have this issue and its Gaku's internet.

I'm not trying to flame or anything but I thought you knew this and it was common knowledge, so are you after something else with this topic and I'm oblivious and missed it?

Gaku has had the same ISP for quite a while. The forums weren't this ****ty before so I'm bringing it up.

Can't hurt to mention it.

Stop trying to think Dean is a troll all the time. He just wants to maybe help fix this problem because its just gotten worse and worse.

reply to NolynnatrixLestrange:

I really wasn't trying to flame him, which is why I said that, and I did not assume he was trolling, I just didn't understand why he made this topic about something that's common knowledge, that's all.

Yeah its a big issue, but I'm pretty sure its his ISP. ISPs do this where they go from good to really crappy for awhile, and sometimes it lasts months.

reply to Locke:

You forgot to add (not a flame) to the end of your post.

Anyway, I haven't had too many problems though I have had random problems occasionally but nothing as serious as right now. I literally have to refresh twice each time I go to a new page.

This happens to me quite a lot, actually. Yet most every time I brought it up to others they never noticed it going on.

I've been aware of this for a while, but I have no idea what's causing it. It's not BYOND as far as I can tell. Here's a list of things that might be responsible: the ISP, the modem, the router, and/or the server's ability to handle http requests (Apache2). What might be useful is if someone could ping the server for like an hour and get an idea of how many requests are failing. As I recall, the modem or router (forget which) will respond to the ping, so if none of the pings fail, that means it's not the ISP.

Pinged the server for about half an hour, mostly normal except for a few high ping times and a single dropped (timed out) packet.

Same. Been pinging on and off from the other side of the country and even other countries.

The server's been being immensely finicky the past few hours.

For the past few days, forums have been acting horrendously bad. Roughly 40% of the time I go anywhere on the forums I get pretty much "Error: Cannot connect to terulia.com!" pages and the like. These past few days have made forum browsing a nightmare; it took me eight minutes to load up ONE page from the 'Under the Sink' forums.
I'm thinking something is wrong...

Ninjer edit: took me four page refreshes just to see my preview.

Also, the Game is getting kind of hard to connect to as well, 4 outta 5 times its connection failed.

I'll look into it tonight. I'll need a volunteer via TRC and/or AIM.
