The existence of Tonberries and people getting their things moved around and stolen inside of locked, protected homes (essentially every one) is a concerning matter. I am Mountain Standard Time Here, and when I logged off at 3 AM here everything was fine.

There is also people who moved around while idle during that time, to the entrances of some shops instead of where they were. I believe they were also killed.

I have heard from several witnesses that this event did indeed occur. Although I myself will lose levels, money, and other various stuff, I would like to also say that I would be for a rollback to sometime last night. By my timezone, 3 AM was 10 hours ago, from the time of this post.

Events like this tend to be a game killer. Everyone feels robbed of their enjoyment and sense of wanting to play. In a closed community like ours, this is a very dangerous event if you really let yourself think of the effects it can cause.

I think that everyone should be willing to suffer losing 10 hours worth of work, over the masses who have just lost countless hours of work. Stone can be remined. Money and exp can be regained. But to feel robbed from the very game itself, and those we trust to ensure our FFO experience if legitimate, is something that can't be fixed unless action is taken.

So I fully support a rollback.


EDIT:
It has come to my attention the game may only be rolled back to a reboot time. I think the last reboot was like two days ago. I want everyone to seriously think of this fact, and that you would be maybe losing 2 days worth of progress, and post your opinions here.

10 hours wouldn't be ****, but if it was 2 days, I can see this being a very controversial issue.

Please post your thoughts, opinions, if you are willing, unwilling, or would flip a ***** over a rollback. I am still for it, but 2 days is a long time. If that would actually -hurt- everyone due to prof levels it may be a bad move too.

I'm also against a roll back, I've done a ****ton on my rw in the past few days and I'm psure ill lose almost 10 lvls and a ****ton of profs if its anywhere near 3 days, even 12 hrs will heavily **** my character

Items can be replaced, just remove all gms and move on

Beautiful post. I couldn't have worded it any better. For me personally I don't want a reboot. Yes I am biased because it means I will lose a lot more profs and items. Why does the player base have to be punished when it was the action of one person (GM). Just punish those who have committed the crime and not the people affected by it.
