It would be cool to have some profitable/repeatable side quests that give loot from boss type monsters which are probably already in terulia as gaku will most likely mention in about five minutes like he always does when someone has a suggestion making me look like a dumbass in front of everybody.
wait, what?

There's nothing like that in Terulia yet or planned as far as I know. Sounds farmable/abusable.

maybe

make suffixes and prefixes have a cap on how much cost it adds to the weapon or piece of armor

then no more having of ease nearly double the price of high-tier stuff

Hi mind reader sinsie I was gonna make another post about the ease suffix having no effect on equipments cost get out of my head.

That's kind of dumb. Then you can use high tier **** not normally accessible to your class if you luck out and find something like that.

Doesn't of ease gear suck anyways if you're using a weapon before your prof's high enough to use it effectively?

Because thats totally what usually happens with ease instead of "hey these royal freeze gloves would be really nice on my ninja but FFFFFFF EASE THANKS FOR DOUBLING COST POINTLESSLY".

Ease isnt gonna reduce prof req so much that any class is gonan be able to use the really high tier **** it wouldnt be able to otherwise. A master will not be using adamant and a knight will not rock the black leather no matter what, and whether or not ease adds to the cost does not affect how much prof a char would need to wear the item in question, it just removes stupid pointless extra gear cost.

Repair costs CAN get a little exorbitant sometimes. HOWEVER, instead of a blanket reduction, I think the price mods on SOME of the suffixes should be reworked. Sure certain suffixes are very good (Wraith/Locust) and the price should reflect that, but there comes a line when it just gets insane.

ease apparently doubles the cost of items but it only reduces prof req by 10-15%. i have a piece that's 40 normally and i needed 35 or 36 for it.

well it'd only really be abusable if you had like 5 alts doing the quest over and over. But I heard a rumor Terulia might only allow one character per player so I can't think of any other abuses.

I'd increase the wait time to more like a irl week though.

The issue is the formula increases too quickly. Final Fantasy X had the same problem, since attack power worked on a cubic formula, meaning you can hit the 99,999 cap without breaking a sweat.

No, it was a comparison, but I'm certain that it works on a multiplier of a sort which stacks with another. The upgrade and repair costs are ****ing ridiculous on high-tier equipment.

We should sentence Gaku to Garland grinding until he can max out a full set of Black Leather gear with tier 7 elements and tier 3 suffixes. And tell us how long it took him before he said "Okay! Okay! I get the point! I'll slash the costs in half!"

Which would prove nothing since that's one of the most extreme examples I've ever heard of in my life. Not to mention we can't sentence Gaku to **** haha.

And what do you mean "max out"? I can see "engrave" or keep "properly repaired and maintained". But all that would prove is what Gaku said before "don't use good gear".

Fully perfected and engraved. It was also a bit of a joke, doing that would take a ridiculous amount of gold, and stores due to being douchebags only give a maximum of 20k.

Alright, you have a point there, but there was also a lot more to my post.

We can't read what you don't post Locke. =p

I approve of lesser repair costs. Repairs affect some classes moreso than others seeing as how knights are shafted because they use the most equipment. I believe the amount of gold you can generate quickly depends on what class you are using. A WW for example who joins partys most of their training times will generate a lot less gold than the solo masters that can destroy single mobs very quickly.

And WW's/RW's get hit a lot since they attract aggression with their healing spells.

yea but the ability to cure also makes it easy to ruin through the ruins and collect 5-8 permas. Where as melees have a little more trouble or just dont bother. So its give or take. No I dont always get champ drops or gold, but the experience allows me to proff to be strong enough to grab a couple 13,000 gold permas. I think that makes up for it

He might've missed Gaku's announcement that due to a loss of updated files he isn't touching FFO ever again also....
