If you already know then I'm pretty stunned your idea is to remove the top two tiers because high drop points will still mean the IGH holders get the best stuff and nothing at all changes. As for archwizard mammoth? Oh some idiots who said Garland needed a buff. Haste got archwizard mammoth. Garland drops sort of gravitated towards us because many quit. Also you talk like Archwizard Mammoth would not be extremely expensive to maintain and is merely a boon, the sad fact is I wear novice because I can't afford to wear mediocre stuff let alone an archwizard mammoth.

Also you really are ok with a zone of monsters that give awesome items with very little effort in a place only one domain has access? Because I don't think you understand how serious I am when I said that's all we did to become overpowered.

I can point out all the BS just fine from what I'm reading, but if you're willing to point out how your own in-game experience is showing you the faults of the game, why not do your part and address these issues? Who better than you?

To be perfectly honest, highlands was engineered by liars over many updates to be overpowered. I don't feel all that bad that I'm profiting from it after all the struggles in vorgardia. If you're willing to work with an antagonizer here, what main points would you list as needing the most attention in FFO now that should be fixed so that it does not carry into Terulia? What would make the game more enjoyable to all and seem most fair?

It needs more equal oppurtunity, the thing with highlands for example is I can get something better than someone else at a half of the effort, when that's not fair whether you're casual hardcore or whoever. Something like highlands shouldn't be near a domain, it should be somewhere pretty no-man's-landish, not something that you can have almost, or actual control over.

If one side is able to practically pin the other down when it comes to getting gear then it'll always boil down to "If you can't beat them, join them" or "Screw this I'm out of here" and things will just become a boring one horse race without competition. Noone enjoys being undefeatable, and certainly noone enjoys being always defeated. Perks like being next to something important can be ok but it can very easily go too far in terms of addvantage.

I know some people who like to be undefeatable with their pug drop-gm-spawned gear. No names necessary.

1: Balanced Drops
2: Balanced Admins
3: New content

Funny story I know another FFO server with all of these things (so far)

This server is about balanced drops.

And Nerserus, you're still not seeing the whole picture. Yes, it'd be nice to have HLs and Plainz share an equal drop level, as those are like the "big boy" areas of the continents. But that doesn't fix people who nolife and get stupid good gear. This suggestion does. Then people can train in these areas and get lucky champs and get good gear, but not break the game.

You guys CLAIM that nothing else is possible anyways, other than what I'm asking for. So this shouldn't be an issue. This will do nothing but even out the drop charts and make it a little more common for mediocre-high tier gear, while you guys can still get your awesome gear you currently have.

And I still disagree that your suggestion of removing tiers solves anything compared to balancing drop points. Also, I don't see why we should get awesome gear from highlands. If I wanted a pwipe I don't think I should have suggested an extremely drastic change to the game that I knew would have huge controversy. And again; totally called your replies. Stop posting, Sai.


Nerserus, I'm not saying this is going to STOP no lifing. I'm saying it's going to shorter the gap between hardcore and casual. But the gap will still exist. I used to be most hardcore player ever. I know it's important to have that gap. But I'm trying to make the gap an appropriate size so others can still PLAY without getting facepalm dirty with the PKs.
