Well unless they have a bad past obviously. No one likes Korin which is why everyone is being gay right now buuut idk how he'd be a bad renamer, no one has seen him in a position like that.

But idc we have enough crappy renamers as is -_- do we dare risk another...

Not much, really. A lot of people just don't like him personality wise because of his forum reputation, but most of those people are gone, and the people that are all "eww korin" now for the most part hardly even know him. I've seen him in game a few times, he's mostly a quiet and courteous player from what I've encountered of him.

This would have gone so much better had he not publicly requested it and maybe PM'd Locke with more reason why he should get it than "people will vouch for me".

Maybe naming a reputable person for starters.

Besides, if a bad forum reputation is why you shouldn't have power there's a dev or 2 that needs to go by that logic...

First off, I did not know who to ask in regards to the renamer job. So I see no reason for all the flak I'm takin'.

Secondly, LP, Cea, Sinsie, Oond, and a host of other reputable folk can safely say I am a very level-headed individual ingame. And quite nice too!

Thirdly, by the looks of how the power-holders are elected here, I'd surmise they're simply drawn from a hat of "who hasn't had a turn at the banstick yet?".

Forgive my anger but seriously, I don't think my returning post should be met with such hostility.
