I don't think it's unreasonable to believe Nabutso managed to work out the formula for EXP prof requirements. Last time I checked, I remember the upgrade formula being something similar to "current upgrade cost * 1.6" to get a rough idea of the next one.

All Nabutso would have to do is count up the exact amount of EXP needed for the first 3 or 4 profs in everything and he could chart it out to the level cap.

melee isn't an element. it has no element. even with an imbue or an elemental suffix it isnt completly elemental.

On a different subject, I just noticed that Gaku hasn't voiced his opinions on private servers. Then again, I don't think he wants to because someone might go "Vigilante" and go overboard in bringing down the server.

And we know that defense exists as an actual stat? Could easily be melee resist. If you want to apply the same concept as elements on weapons to elements on armor, it doesn't make it completely elemental.

In fact, that would probably be easier to code when you consider elemental spells. Instead of having to define a different way of interpreting damage between spells and melee, just make melee another element and have it follow the same formula as elemental resistances. Armor would then just reduce melee damage by a certain %, possibly with a cap so that you couldn't go in to negatives.
