Seriously though, some of the changes in Terulia will just blow some folks' minds. Don't even try coming up with ideas to abuse some of the things made public, there's a damn good chance there'll be fun little fuck-yous put in to thwart people trying that. :)

You guys seem to forget that the main point of Terulia is basically swapping out the icons, maps, and class system to the job system. I kinda doubt Gaku would go for any heavy altering of most core game mechanics short of the job system which is what he wanted in the first place.

Remember, just because people suggest things to Gaku doesn't mean he wants/intends to do it.

I hate it when people declare that suggestions should stop being made. There IS a chance that someone will come up with something worthwhile or at the least, interesting to consider. Even if an idea is without a well informed base and completely impractical doesn't mean it's not GOOD or that it can't be retooled to work in Terulia.

However, suggesting Game play mechanics based on what you 'think' Terulia will be like is a waste of time, since most of you don't know the first thing about Terulia, regardless of how much you think you do. I know that I learned exactly how much I didn't know after a 30 minute discussion with Gaku. It's vastly different.

You know the game mechanics of Terulia Cea? Perhaps you do, but I guarantee you most of the population doesn't.

Most of us thought the major EXP was still from Monsters until last week.

Most people still don't know about the multiple landing points on the main game play area.

Most people still don't know about the new kingdom plans allowing you to avoid PvP entirely, if you so desire. As well as always having a safe town to live in, no matter who you are.

These are things some of us are privy to, and have been for a while, but not everyone knows them. Therefore, they should not be making suggestions on a game that most people don't fully understand yet.

There are some things that are universal. Dungeon ideas, skill or job suggestions, even if already planned, quest ideas etc. These are all the things that players can really think up, monster balancing in a completely new system is not one of those things.

Did that make sense?

Psst: Monsters do have a cieling when scaled as well as a floor. This was already worked out with Gaku when scaling was first put in waaay back when.
