If you weren't away training that day, then surely you must have seen them approach, killing the mobs, something. You know, I'm seriously just asking you to do something like DETAIL WHO THEY WERE or something so I can make sure you were actually there.

ok as for who they were, that i cannot tell but i did find out the purple red mage was enigma after i looked at my hostiles list after taking his name, the theif was a tannish color, as for the mobs i wasnt lookign when they were meleeing them but i did look back and see the theif filching/attacking me

That night my bestest friend and icon checker Cookie-kuri contacted me about someone requesting to have the same base recolor and wanted to see if it was cool with me. I approved it. So that night, we had two thieves running around with the same base recolors.

Relleth can vouch for this because he got so utterly trolled by them and had to leave for the night all super depressed. Seriously, he went bat**** insane on TRC.

You know, that's kind of something important to remember that it was two thieves that looked the same.

I made my point that you obviously weren't paying attention to FFO.

However since botting isn't explicitly against the rules except for the post that Gaku made stating he would delete characters under certain conditions, I'll leave it for him to decide.

you said in your previous statement that you only saw the red mage and ONE Thief.
I put in two recolored Thief icons. I didn't think there was anything wrong with it and asked an admin to make sure things were okay.
Why continue to fight this? You were using some sort of other program to make actions for you. Whether you were actually at the keyboard or not you pretty much had FFO minimized or have other windows on top of the screen so you can't see it. In otherwords you couldn't make any action, you couldn't see what was going on in game, you were away

TL;DR

I think Gaku was specifically going to delete characters found to be away training by use of bots.

In this scenario the away persons could have been easily beared, stunned, pounded, status'd, killed, or removed from the party. I one of them was the party leader a new party could have been started. You chose to continue to feed them experience, experience that is close to useless since experience dumping is pretty much useless.

UPDATE:

Read the thread in it's entirety. Obviously using a script to away train. I can't defend this because it appears to be blatant rule breaking. They were given ample time to respond, although they're not required to or anything. I often ignore chats. I find it hard to believe they wouldn't run away or act at all though and continue to do the same action throughout the entirety of the encounter. Sorry bros, nothing against you but looks like you got busted.


My previous opinion under the assumption that you were all in a party together and they were simply auto-following you still stands though, especially since this is common practice when someone steps away for a moment in real life and doesn't want to slow their party down.

Considering how much time I actually put into this game, I feel cheated! If this is the kinda stuff people have to do to get a decent character, then you can count me out! And when you PK me with an overpowered character that you cheated in order to get that way, and then stand over my grave and say "Die Newb", Well we will both know who the real loser is.
