Knock this crap off.

This thread is about the Spike in Gear Costs. It is not about Letha having gold or leamaia or pictures of orcs in pink speedos or whatever.

I will say this on the subject of gear costs. Balancing high-end gear with ridiculous costs is not a balancing act. All it does is mean that high end items get used solely to sell and perfect your low level **** that has good suffixes/elements, or used by people who have more money than what is reasonable to have.

If a piece of gear is requiring you to pay 10k+ for repairs after a single training run, that piece of gear better let you fire laser beams out of your eyes and change your icon to have a giant golden sparkle of "LOOK AT ME WEARING LEGENDARY GEARS" instead of just taking off an extra 3 damage per melee, or letting you deal an extra 5 per hit.

How many people play is completely irrelevant. Only 3 or so people play Terulia, should that be ignored as well? No, of course not. And yeah, he should be focusing on Terulia. But we aren't asking that Gaku put in an exact replica of Ireland's Green Shores. We are asking for a slight adjustment that wouldn't take much time at all. To make the game more playable until Terulia comes (which is awhile aways yet).

Everyone agrees the hike is too great. Even you have, apparently. The cost of the gear at this time is so impractical you might as well remove the gear effected (I suggested this hehehe). What could be done is lower the price hike and make it not effect some of the lower tiers. Right now, the hike kicks in almost as soon as you leave shop tier.

And again, if it's so expensive that it's impractical to use, why even have the items?

You guys brag about having ten million gold in IGH. You brag about how awesome HLs is for gold. And THEN you brag about using extremely low tier items, even tier 1 armor pieces.

I'd love to hear how those bragging statements work together. ;)

Just got back from the gym so you are spared from a massive reply. And I think I may have missed some points that sprang into my head while I made my post-workout. But even so, the point shouldn't need to be argued too heavily as the entire community (all three of us) agree. ;)

I believe they are requesting that you Lower repair costs on equipment a bit. I agree with them that they are a little high, but I've felt that way since I started playing day 1.
