Nerserus, I'm not saying this is going to STOP no lifing. I'm saying it's going to shorter the gap between hardcore and casual. But the gap will still exist. I used to be most hardcore player ever. I know it's important to have that gap. But I'm trying to make the gap an appropriate size so others can still PLAY without getting facepalm dirty with the PKs.

If you think this is about gear you should really fight me naked and we'll both use rapiers or something.

And please, don't act like you don't enjoy just completely disregarding any sense of civility and complaining about how stupid/corrupt/incompetent/white I am. I also enjoy instigating you into these sort of things. I find it to be very win-win, and will continue to find it so until one of us crosses the line and gets hammered.

Also, at least I am at least keeping somewhat on topic, at least. I mentioned your arguments have become somewhat incoherent at this point, and I don't think you fully understand the scope or intention of this suggestion and just immediately read that you would lose access to higher tiers of gear.

I still don't think it will, you even said we'd still get awesome gear and everyone else would get mid tier items, as much as that's repeating myself. Also it really won't close the gap because as mentioned before it's suffixes that matter too. Also if we're talking about getting smashed into the dirt by people gear is only some of the vast reasons why that can happen. Profs and class differences are here too, you remove some gear tiers and things may get more unbalanced than before if you're not careful. It's all a chaos butterfly effect here.

Besides, if it's so bad that you can't even play without being murdered repeatedly I think gear is a relatively small problem compared to the fact that that situation can happen.

My only problem is that i love the later gear icons. Maybe everything past a certain tier has the same stats as the last tier? Like everything past ...crimson? has crimson level stats but it still exists so you can collect a full chanter set if you have a boner for how it looks. Its a decent idea tho
