I can't remember for the life of me, but did he ever have a donation thread for the old forums? Although it seems like begging to some people, if someone is willing to make a game that everyone enjoys, i"m sure some would be willing to toss him money for his efforts.

I would just like to point out that FFII was one of the best of its time I mean come on it starts out with your hometown on fire people screaming and dieing and four little kids barely escaping only to get caught by some looming dark knight guys that are all powerful and kickass. And you can train and come back and woop the **** outta them with ease if you put effort into it Hell I went to Mysidia before I even liberated the home town ;p

The story was bad ass tairn. I never knocked it for that ;p. I was simply saying the leveling system wasn't well recieved.

Basically its an idea so that it doesn't bug him as much. Neenj said he was losing money hosting it, and I was saying donations can sometimes be used to keep that will to keep doing it alive.

You can use that same principle to help keep motivation on the making of terulia as well. It's just an idea if you catch my drift.

I loved the proffing system from ff2 actually I think I suggested it a long time ago to Gaku instead of exp

Aside from proffing magic levels in that game now that was a true burden I just liked the fact you could stab yourself to near death and gain hp ;p the problem is not the proffing system its the mix of leveling and proffing together it needs to be one or the other a full proffing system like ffII or the exp lvling system

Right.. but if he was trying to make money he would have closed FFO as at best donations would probably only help offset the money he loses.

When it was with allowance and exp at the same time it was cool too, he increase how much the spended exp would need to lv up, and the fastest way was using the skill, BUT the exp was still there and it was good.

About make money, if he was concentrated on do it or + smart or both of things together, he would do what i say to every people.

First thing is remove it from Byond(make in in another program language) .

Edit: Oh, if gaku is going revert to 2010 he need remember it was on HUB xO!

The copyrighted material that caused the C&D order is still the same, so it won't go back on the HUB. Reverting to the 2010 version doesn't revert time back to 2010 as well, Smith.

Smiffeh you missed the point completly not talking about exp and proffing together im talking about proffing and lvls together. In ff2 you had no levels at all pure proffing stats skills magic everything. It could be done on here just like Letha said alot of Effor-not happening Plus people are to used to the concepts of leveling to grasp it

2010 revert probably would be better than 2008 and i agree, but if gaku made a thread about having a vote to revert, he would probably stick to it and be like "whelp its all yours now". But a lot of people are curious to when it will happen, because right now on ffo there is probably only 3 or 4 active players on, if that even. which includes Sai Tarin some random new player and occasionally Letha. the last 3-4 days i haven't seen any activity besides them really, most the other players are away for domain happiness or just simply sit in town. The server is dead, and not because revert got put up as a option, just people are bored with it. its the whole reason why revert got put up in the first place to vote.
