I'm just curious to know your personal opinion Locke. You haven't said much beyond "If Gaku [etc etc] then he would make me [etc etc]". If you had 2 better candidates for admin, and by better I mean ones that wouldn't send several people up in arms about their appointment, would you approve them to be part of an admin team?

I only ask because it's odd you haven't said what you think about needing a 3-man team for administrative duties. If anything it's bound to take stress off your plate.

I was going to wait to post to see if power actually shifted the way everyone seems to want it to. The following can be taken in a lot of ways. You can say I hate Sinsie and Cea, but you'd only be half right. I've never really exchanged words with Sinsie one way or another, and He's never given me a reason to hate him. Anyway without further ado, Kumog and Garral aren't the only ones against them being reinstated as admins.

As far as I'm concerned they should never be reinstated as admins. It would be foolish. Not only did they both quit, neither one of them left quietly. They both raised hell when doing so. And at least Cea without exactly saying "fuck you Gaku" said "Fuck you Gaku" with all those long walls of text saying how he was disappointed and how he was screwing his game up simple because it wasn't going the way he wanted it to go.

Not only that but they came back. Pretty much demanding their positions back, and I'm pretty sure even Sinsie posted an ultimatum which got him absolutely nowhere. Not to mention every time this happens it's what they do. "We were better admins, the current administration sucks, blah, blah, blah." They can deny it as much as they want, and say it's not true, but it's what they do.

So then they come back more, and all they do is pretty much troll all over the old forums, (Cea at least, I didn't really see a lot from Sinsie). And here is where I'm gonna get told by Cea that he's not a troll. Well we'll let the evidence speak for itself.

Giving them their adminship back wouldn't be anything more than a slap in the face to Gaku, as well as incredibly foolish.

Numerous times I've seen them both be disrespectful, and unable to listen to everyone that posts opinions. "Aries why are you posting?" "It's just Jeff no one care" "Garral is just a troll you cant take anything he says serious" "Lumino your logic is stupid and you don't even play the game". We need people in power like that why? They've proven they're biased over and over again, and they cant even respect other peoples posts enough to even listen to them when they post. Sorry but I don't want an admin who I know wont listen to everyone. Or an admin who wont listen to reason just because a certain person made the post no matter how right the post is.

And as far as LP for admin goes, Also no, And I pretty much like LP a lot. That guy is very uncivil. All I have ever seen him do is blast shit at people for not agreeing with him. As well as If he's already had a small amount of power and then had it taken away twice, should that not send up warning signs? As well as I know at least one time I've seen a "fuck you Gaku" post, word for word. No respect, whatsoever.

As well as what gives you the guys to the right to take it upon yourselves to "Refine and rewrite" the rules? What? Nothing. You don't have any power, at all. The rules should only even be thought about being edited by Gaku himself or whoever the current admin or admins are, which right now are not Sinsie, Cea, or Lp. If we had it that way well damn, anyone could do that and just be like here you go this is how it should be.

You guys should never be given your admin status back, you don't deserve it.

Locke's Guide to Organizing a Boycott. Version 1.0
This will be short.

1. Find active people. When pretty much your entire boycott list is people that don't play anyway, no one cares. Your boycott has no substance.

2. Make sure they're there to support the boycott themselves. A list with 20 names on it doesn't mean anything when nobody's heard from those people in ages, and they don't even come back to support themselves.

3. Be more organized. Take this example. "Dean talked to everyone." I ask Dean about it on the forums, he goes on to say Stella and Oondi are organizing it, I go back to Oondi and he says its Dean's idea. If you want a boycott to be taken seriously, you might want to be more organized. If I have to go in circles to find out who your leader is, how am I ever supposed to negotiate with you?

4. General boycotts are pointless. Without specific terms, all you do is show you want to rebel. That won't get you anywhere.

5. To tie into number 1, pick people who are going to play at some point. Don't pick people who weren't playing before, weren't playing when you decided to boycott, and wouldn't play even if your terms were met. That's pretty pointless and just shows you're trying to solidify your own position more without any reason than to make yourself look better.

That's about it.

No clip is GM conceal, its the same ability, its the way I catch people in the act, because if they see me there they're instantly going to stop. GM conceal makes me invisible and able to fly over anything basically.

I've never summoned anyone unless as a joke or if I really needed to. I put one of my friends in the middle of the water between Argo and Vorgardia once, but they thought it was funny.

you gm-concealed away from me in nb once when i tried killing you on some char at one point a few months ago. there's atleast 2 instances of it.

and you've summoned people to the gm island or whatever just to have friendly pvp before. that isn't really a situation i'd say you "really needed to".

So you guys are just going to keep going around in circles about why this person and this person should not be a admin.

We need more on WHO IS qualified for these positions and not so much on who isnt. We all know everyone has stories and posts on forums and previous rages or pk's. So I dont think there is ever going to be a reasonable solution to this problem.

It shouldnt matter wether people like the admins or not. Are they in fact going to do their jobs justly and fairly. Thats important not wether you think someone is a dousche.

It's too bad the same few people can keep saying negative stuff over and over with no backing at all. Most of the stuff was first said just to try and make me angry, even.

But regardless, this topic is about changing or fixing a few things. Main focus on the administration. Referencing the equal group admin thing, here. And Locke, it's not really about what YOU think of it. It's clear the community wants more so right now it's about getting Gaku to go for the idea. Because you're not the community.
