I think it would be a good idea to bump important forums to the top of the list, and also give their text a different color or give them some other kind of glaring obvious thing to stand them apart from the others. Its nice now how the board with the most posting is bumped to the top of the list, but I really think we should have some other identifier as well, so newbies know these boards are the "official" ones, or the most important, or whatever. Right now I'm thinking the FFO Consortium and Gaku's Lair should both go up there. It could even be a gmod ability or something, so we can bump boards up there or remove them as need be, although I don't see this changing very often.

This would make it a lot easier for newbies to find their way around and get to posting more quickly, plus they would know where to look for important topics more.
