In the table that contains the welcome message, log out, inbox, and user cp buttons I think there should be a couple of things:

PM and User Database.

PM is nice to have access to without having to go to your inbox. Make it open in a new window/tab.


User Database makes it easier to find people.
In the user list have quick links to PM the user, view posts made by them, view threads started by them, their join date, etc.

Where would the "PM" link go? - the message folder list?
