Lately when I've been timing out, I've noticed that TRC will resend all messages to me in case I missed any.
This is nice. But it would be even nicer if it could flag messages so they aren't resent every single time when a time-out occurs. It gets very spammy. _________________________________________ |

What version of the client are you using? _________________________________________ ScouSin: Damn you Gaku! Damn you and your; "Be patient, and if you don't want to, tough, because I'm going to be all mystical about it!"

There's an updated version?

It was fine initially, but an update a while back rendered it obsolete. A number of people continued to use it with limited success. _________________________________________ ScouSin: Damn you Gaku! Am using the updated version now, and the resend spam seems to have lowered some over time, which is good.
However apparently the time-out gagging does not function; people complained that my connection timing out so much had taken up their entire screen on TRC yesterday. I had asked one of them to post a log but it appears nobody was willing to do so. Would it be possible to change time-outs so that instead of announcing every time someone times out, it does it once per half hour tops, or possibly gags it completely altogether and adds a symbol to them in /w? _________________________________________ |

If you're timing out, then it's dropping you from the user list, forcing you to log back in. _________________________________________ ScouSin: Damn you Gaku!
