This bug

Literally every reboot in the past week has done massive damage to the stone walls of Irendi Guardhouse.

Marcus and I are fairly certain it might have to do with the fact that Gaku tinkered with the guardhouse map a lot last hosting.
Please check the map coding, Gaku.

I am currently unaware if any other domains have had this happen to them this hosting, but it's apparently happened to other domains once in a while in previous hostings, albeit nowhere near as detrimental as what happens to the guardhouse.

Feel free to post any extra information on the bug.

Bump.

Dunno if this is a coincidence, but the longer the game goes without a reboot, the more tiles seem to vanish.

Simple solution:
Never ever ever reboot again

Game. Set. Match.

This really does seem like a personal problem. It only happens to you.

It's not me, it's the domain as a whole. This would happen regardless of who runs the place.

I'd like to suggest this happen on a regular basis as improvements get old and need to be repaired.

Actually this has happened to a lot of places that were completely full of stone palisade. It happened to Diadel as well when I owned it for the two days that I did before destroying it completely.

It's been happening for a while, I remember when House Orhlov was around One of our temples was destroyed in Diadel because of that bug. And that was years ago. It needs to be fixed.

It isn't reproducible in any meaningful way.

It is reproducable if it has happened so many times Gaku..

A domain with palisades and a reboot makes it happen, I'm not sure how you're saying it's not. :\

Every time we've tried to test it, nothing happened. If you can tell me WHY it's happening, why THOSE tiles and not ALL THE OTHERS, then I'll look into it again.

The only problem with testing that efficiently is that it would require completely leveling the domain and building just the walls to test various things, then readd the buildings to test more, etc.

This would waste a lot of hard work and require even more as well as leave the domain and stored items/gold vulnerable.

Of course, without the information you can't do anything about it without putting in equal or more effort into searching the code, which is why I understand how this is pretty much a personal problem.

Can't just make a test hosting and dump like a million stone outside the domain to build a ton of walls/palisades etc and spam reboot it to see or something?

We've already tested this. There was no obvious correlation whatsoever. We even tried dropping items and resources to see if that somehow deleted the underlying wall's 'save' info. We've tried building on top of areas and then cancelling, etc. We've tried standing on tiles while logging out and/or rebooting. We've tracked NPCs during reboots. Nothing we've tried, which is everything remotely obvious, is reproducible.

In that case, I guess keep the topic open for now just in case I happen to find some miraculous breakthrough on this (I'm not giving up!).
