The 2010 server was less buggy, had far less room for abuse (no masters ****ting out damage with guns, no ninja stealing from dragons, less room for duping, etc), was one of the most successful and enduring hostings of FFO (almost a year and a half), and was arguably the most balanced hosting that I've played ( I mean come on, did people ***** on the forums NEARLY as much as they do now back then?)

More balanced than '08.
Less abuse than '08.
Less buggy than '08 (weren't there like a thousand ways to crash the server back then anyway).
Icon Checker did not exist in '08 = icons

The 2010 hosting would be clearly superior to the 2008 hosting, while still allowing you brats to have experience, which was pretty much why you guys hate this current hosting.

I'd agree that this would have way less problems than the 2008 version in many ways. I'd find it much easier to deal with administration issues this way too.

Also, default icons are fugly.

honestly, i even said that if we HAVE to revert, i'd prefer 2010. it still has some BAAAD bugs, but it fixes most of the big problems from 2008 and it excludes less people from the brief bit of nostalga
