As in, I could beat every regular person I knew, but even "casual" hardcore players who built and designed and thought about their decks could easily beat me 'cause I didn't want to put that much effort into it. Plus I suck at coming up with combos and stuff anyway. MtG is cool I just don't play it. _________________________________________ Signatures are SO last decade.

I never played the Magic and have no idea what the cards mean when people show me, so I can't actually contribute to the topic. :B But I totally know what Locke's talking about. I get like that in fighting games I play over a long period of time; play around with other people and win without too much effort, then some guy that probably memorized six different online guides of the game's mechanics and the character he uses goes against me and ruins me completely. I've tried to get into the metagame stuff before but I have more fun trying to win with silly style in the first place. cough okay I'm leavin'. _________________________________________
