edit: The new version of BYOND for Linux apparently wiped out a couple of necessary BYOND library files. I've restored the files, so I think it should run properly now.

It's an issue with the newest BYOND beta not working with the existing save files & uploaded/dynamic icons (or so it seems).
I'm working with Tom (of Dantom) to isolate the problem now. I've helped Tom and Lummox Jr (BYOND developers) locate the problem.
I'm going to leave the game down tonight in case they need more help with testing tomorrow. The game is up right now, is it supposed to be? I loaded it and went as far as the character select screen and saw none of the character files were there, so I didnt go any further than that for fear of doing something I shouldnt be doing.

Happened once, ended with a connection fail. Just came up again says Deshawn has been taken, same ending.

Its probably in limbo. If you can play there's probably no harm in it, but either way whatever you do will probably get wiped and replaced with the current game saves again once Gaku gets it fixed.

Another thing with the newest update of BYOND is I know it messes with the interior of buildings and text boxes. I never updated myself but people were complaining that the blackness outside the walls is dense or appears overtop the boxes or something so you couldn't use shops or prof or anything at all.

I put the newest byond on my sisters comp when I was over there, you could read the box that says done when talking to shops and smiths and etc, and a couple of the icons maybe were in view for weapons/skills whatever, the rest was all a mess of black tiles.
