1) testing out some improved backup procedures
2) a linux distribution upgrade

fun fact: all of the info on the forums takes up less than 20MB of disk space

Okay Marcus, be a big fat jerk.

But I didn't expect the forums here to take 20 MB of disk space, I thought it'd be 10 MB at the very most.

It was around 15MB, but since I didn't remember the exact number, I just said "less than 20".
That also includes things like images for buttons, the banner for the game, the error log, the handful of pictures I'm hosting on the server, etc.
