I've been working with Tom of Dantom today, trying to figure out exactly why FFO isn't showing up as a live game. We've tested a number of conditions, and the problem is likely due to a communication error between newly hosted servers and the BYOND hub under certain as-yet-unknown circumstances, perhaps due to the CPU-intensive FFO boot process. FFO will be up and down for the remainder of the day, and any progress made today will be reverted to the most recent backup. Hopefully after today, FFO not showing up as a live game will no longer be a problem. Please spread the word in-game. Thanks.

Forgive my thread hijacking, but I have a few issues you should know about. First, I suffer from... hold up, wrong issues.

First off, if you have a forum with one sub-forum within it, make a thread, and then delete that thread, it seems to crash the entire forum. See here. I can't access the subforum at all, even though it appears on the configuration page.

Also, when Locke deleted my thread in Guides and Moderation when I was testing something for him, nothing appears in the Recent Posts field.

Lastly, the reason I'm hijacking this thread is because nobody can make any threads in Gaku's Lair. I think it's related to the second issue.

You should be able to make threads now. That was me, I forgot that when I made it so you couldn't make threads on Guides & Moderation, it affected the entire forum.

You should really test bugs before posting them... I did exactly what you said, and it didn't work for me, so obviously there's more to it. Why is the forum listed as having -1 replies? Figure out how you got to -1 replies, and I bet that will be the cause of the problem.

Ah, that happened when I deleted my thread. I'm pretty certain deleting a thread also counts as deleting a reply.

By the way, I did test it, or else I wouldn't have reported it.

You'll need to post a step-by-step protocol to repeat it.
Forum bugs are a lot harder to fix that game bugs because forum bugs don't give error reports.
So I need to know exactly how to reproduce it.
