That icon checkers are being ******s with double standards.

This icon has been in for like two hostings and is obviously RYDIA from FFIV. I may be drunk, but **** you I'm right.

Ian being a hypocrite is old news, brah. I mean let's see, Adrindo was removed for having a Reno face icon if I remember right. But like his past week of icon checker decisions have all be hypocritical. Everyone knows it.


Oh by the way I redid Adrindo's face icon again cuz Emma (icon checker) redid his icon so it could be in game as the freaking imp face icon from ff6. Hey I'm not an icon checker or nothing, but at least I can still try and fix their ****ty work.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeexcept there are rules and guidelines for icons, whether or not someone had a "problem" with it or not is a moot argument. If an icon doesn't follow the guidelines then it should be removed, case and point.

That's ****ed up if that's the case. We've all had a problem it seems of lately. I told him to place my icon in a couple days ago. He didn't do so, can anyone else put my icon in?


Also, if I did an Icon bug. Why did blace icon get removed to Oon. I heard you placed your "In-game Girlfriend as iconing checker" cus you're king tuck. So explain that to me.

Icon rules have been pretty vague in the past year or so at least. Lately I was working with Stella to come up with solid guidelines for them so we wouldn't have this problem anymore, but they weren't implemented before I got removed.

I did send the rough draft to Gaku though, and with the exception of one of those rules, I still think they're pretty decent.

Also I'm sure if you guys get together and make a discussion topic on the subject and come up with something solid yourself, Gaku would be happy to implement it, but just keep in mind what he wants to keep out of the game, like characters from other games and what not.

I'm all for heavy leniency as far as names and icons go on FFO because honestly I really tire of all the flip flopping between rules and standards.

Set up something solid and stick with it so people will stop getting hit with double standards.

It's a pretty well known fact that if you piss off oondi in game there's a good chance of you being ****ed over by whatever means he has access to.

Same thing goes if whoever he is sucking up to in-game at the moment doesn't like you.

It was that way when he was host and it's that way now with him as self appointed lead icon checker.

As far as his icon work goes, I've always called it little oondi's chop shop. Almost every icon is a heavy Setzer or other FF6 char recolor. His new fad is ripping of FFT portraits.


All this headache caused from custom icons, along with a lot of them not fitting the style of the game and just being confusing in general as to what class people are playing is exactly why I wish Gaku would just disallow custom icons in Terulia. It's not like there's a lack of customization available. You can customize 4 accents of your character, not to mention each job has 2 different icons, one for each sex.

The problem isnt the custom icons its the rules and upholding the rules. Just like all the bull**** with names and renamers. When it comes to people in charge its all discretionary. Its up to them whether or not its allowed. Just like cops they can give you a ticket but they dont have to. Either way there is an argument on the other side. Bascially what I am saying is if thre are people involved emotions will play a large part since we are emotioned based reactors.
