Well I've been meaning to post this topic for a while now but I just found out how this ugly forum works. (Yes im slow, I found the button).

Is it just me or does it seem like nobody really posts in these forums besides the people who have used the previous one? It seemed like the old forums were much more active even though the community mostly bickered and fought (the same can be said for this one as well lalz) at least there were more topics with different views.

All I ask is for "Gaku's Lair", to be categorized like how FFO Consortium used to be. That way it would be more appealing for newer people to post.

Suggestion: Remove unnecessary topics such as "Forum Testing" and "Terulia Forums". Replace them with the previous good ones like Role Playing,Chatter, and FFO Discuscion....including all the underneath sub-topics.

No offfence Gaku but I don't think people really need to know that you implemented a new search button next to the browse forums buttom on the top centre of the forums (=P). Maybe you could hide it just for development or something but, there is just so much clutter IMO. Anyone else agree?

Oh and we switched forums because of less advertising or something? Im curous....

The previous mega-forum model was horribly flawed and I don't want to repeat it here.
If you're unhappy with the current forums, you're welcome to create your own.
Why should Gaku's Lair be restructured? It's not a general chat forum; it's for updates and bug reports.
Are you even aware that I coded this forum system from scratch?
Why else would I have subforums for forum testing?

The reasons we switched were
1) forum/game integration (press Options in-game...)
2) ads benefit Terulia instead of invisionfree

Only thing I say is that the most popular/main forums should be top on the list, so newcomers know precisely where to post for their needs.

I'm just stupid because for a whole month or so I never bothered to click the "Browse Forums" button. I finally did after Gaku posted so don't I look foolish.....=S

Dunn even remember how I even got the link to these forums.

I always just thougght that this was the only forum cuz when you click forum home in only shows Gaku's Lair.

EDIT: Just found out you have to subscribe to the forums to see everything. (man aint i a dummeh)

this topic isnt completely wasted cause it does raise the point of this forum is confusing as **** when you first use it

it seems like hardly anyone except die hard ffoers come here but i think if you want the forums t obe a success when terulia starts you gotta make it as simple to operate as possible

i think post replys font size should be made bigger its easy to miss
