I'd like to see sticky and lock topic. Also a Global Moderator position is probably more needed than before now that anyone can make a forum.

Password recovery won't be possible without either e-mail validation or linking forum accounts to game accounts.
Eventually I do want to link them, but at this point it would be a pain.

I've already started working on skin options.
This one is based off "Blandly Orange", my favorite skin on the old forums.

Pin/Unpin is actually first on my list of planned additions.
I'd forgotten about Lock/Unlock, but that should be easy as well.

Also, a way to make a board's posts not count toward post count would be useful.

Another thing that isn't really important, but would be nice, is like, a master user list, or like, one of those things that says "we have x number of members, our newest member is so and so".

Another thing that would be nice, but isn't necessary, is clickable urls. If you type like "www.google.com" it would be convenient if you could just click it, rather than having to copy/paste it.

You may want to make it possible to blacklist via IP. Otherwise, someone could just make endless numbers of alternate accounts...

How does the Whitelist work? Like, you just put someone's name on there, and the forum automatically knows to not allow anyone else on the forum?

When you use the whitelist restriction toggle in config, it will disallow any non-members who aren't on the list. So yes.

I'm not much of a CG artist, but I believe this will serve as a pinned topic icon. Or at least a base. You can resize it down to just about anything without losing the quality.
