I don't know if it's a bug or not, but mercenaries seem to only spam cure on themselves until their mana runs out, and then they decide to attack, even if they're health is full, they'll keep spamming cure.

Gaku: fixed in update

EDIT: also, wolves curing themselves are killing themselves, they appear to be weak to curative element.

Gaku: Dean set them as poison elemental.

Chakra is draining mana occasionally on use

Gaku: All spells had previously cost 1MP per cast (for testing); I will set it back to normal.

mana regen needs to be toned down, tinctures and ethers are useless with how much you can regen, also, cure needs a small nerf seeing as you can just use it -occasionally- in pvp and not die and you can spam it to survive a decent amount of mobs right now as well.
that being said, the elemental spells could probably do with a small buff as well.

Stamina is dropping very quickly. 4 steps and your stamina is mid low. I suggest lowering the stamina. It make it seem like I'm carrying 100k gold on me.

It's the newbie equipment. Drop all the newbie equipment you get from Silas (or Fyn or whatever it is he's called now, I forget) and just buy new stuff in the shop. Only the newbie equipment has ridiculous weight, nothing else does.

Also, a lot of people seemed to just roll with the fact that they were doing 0-1 damage vs. 100+ health mobs and thought it was perfectly normal. Let me go ahead and say that armor highly effects your stats and that it's extremely beneficial to buy as much as you can. Once the newbie gear's weight bug is fixed and we can all use it normally things should be a lot easier at the start.

Anyway, from my experience, here's some things I'd name;

- The obvious stamina bug everyone seems to already know about
- Biggs seems extremely inadequate right now; he will follow you very fast then stop dead in his tracks even with no monsters around, then follow you again very fast etc. He seems to stop completely when he wants to heal himself even when he's at full health, as has been mentioned all the guards do this. And he hardly ever seems to actually attack the enemy.
- This is more of a personal taste thing, but I miss the starting gear coming with wanderer bracelets.
- One of the NPCs in town is a boat, I dunno if that's intentional
- There may be a reason for this, but I've found that there seem to be certain 'hotspots' for *HUGE* amounts of enemies to spawn (seems like just east of town and just southwest of town) but everywhere else there seems to not be any monsters at all.
- Again, a personal thing, but I feel like there should be light sources in town.
- It may be part of the guard healing-too-much-and-not-doing-anything-else issue but it's too easy for people to PK in the middle of town and completely get away with it, and even freely use the town as much as they want. I only saw a couple deaths to guards the whole couple hours I played and even I myself PKed in town with no repercussion at all.
- Someone else mentioned there being no way to delete your character, I thought I'd throw this up here to get your attention even though you probably already are aware.

Anyway, even with the issues, this test confirmed a lot of what I was hoping from Terulia. It gives me a feeling I haven't felt since I first ventured to Irendi in FFO and talked to the NPCs, getting this huge and interesting backstory to everything and hoping someday the stuff they were talking about would actually be added into the actual game; not only am I excited about Terulia's story, already enjoying it much more without the traces of Final Fantasy lore strewn about FFO's Newbie Island which was the only fully complete area, but the complete lack of FF reference actually feels very comfortable and very "right". I was worried mostly about that, but instead of feeling like FFO without the FF, FFO conversely felt like this awesome custom world that strangely had unfitting FF elements thrown into it.

*edit* - though I made a lot of this post sound past-tense and finalized I just realized that the game's actually back up, and was only down for a bit, not the end of testing... *cough*

*edit 2* - Yes, it's new moon right now and it's impossible to even see yourself to use a torch on yourself except by just clicking around--we really could use some braziers in town.

If you want to change your appearance more you have to click on "Help". Most people never click on this option because they don't think they can change more on their icon. There should be a better way to know this because once you create your character you can't delete it afterwards.

okay so the guards just camp the corpse even with wolves all over town

according to solus, it's because of either corruption, or guards becoming too obsessed with aggro towards outlaws

ok, these guards were like this for like 10 minutes or something and i don't even know WHY

So, there's going to be no suffixes, correct? What can people do to fix their stamina problems?

Currently, I would recommend not walking.

Sidenote: If you find any density problems, please report them.

some more things:

- even accepting priest as a subjob resets you to level 1 and destroys all your profs (at least equipment profs) up to that point. Shouldn't it do nothing more than add some ability profs to your current and subsequent level requirements?

- "Report to Captain Bennett for Duty" appears twice in your quest log, no matter what step of the quest you're on

- thrown weapons aren't affected by the "no more weapon prof needed to use a weapon" update

- even though there's a "time" for your PLC to raise, you can level normally as long as you have enough profs

I've noticed some priest skills do not work.
Not sure if they just have not been coded in yet or what.

Unable to obtain certain skills.
Again, not sure if they just have not been coded in.

Unusable skills:
Shining Hands
Healing Touch

Unobtainable skills:
Cure 2
Light 2
Holy Fire
Anti-Element(2)
Reveal
Healer
Smiting

Upon attacking and killing someone in plain sight while in town I am labeled an outlaw of Ft Eldon and received no attention from the guards.

When said person re-spawned about 10 minutes later, I was labeled an outlaw of Test Kingdom.

I was asking a serious question. If you aren't able enough to answer it maybe someone more qualified could answer it for you.

There was a problem with stamina at the time which was already reported.

Serious solution was serious.

I asked my question after that bug was fixed. Stamina is still hell, you have just enough to get outside town and walk a few steps. I assume this isn't the problem you were referring to, rather than how it's supposed to work. I was asking how people will increase their stamina regen.

To be fair that doesn't really completely answer his question. Are we to assume then that stamina won't be a problem once the bug is fixed? If that's so, why have stamina to begin with?

Im sure that stamina will be more fine tuned later on. Currently the way stamina work sucks IMO in Terulia. The only way to increase it is to level up, but when your a new character stamina really blows. This is a real turn off to me and other people who don't mind testing but don't wont to bother with having to stop every ten steps.

To dean: I took your advice, I don't walk.
