During while a domain is under siege, the domain lord and chancellor (if given proper access) should be able to open all the Inn doors inside his domain by clicking the Inn NPC and selecting the "Master Key" option.

Simply for that fact that Army Units and Guards seem to only go into the inn 2 or 3 at a time so when your local militia decides to try and take your city by hiding in the inn the domain lord has some way of handling it other than sitting outside and hoping they open the door.

The other thing I noticed is that while guards force open inn doors, rangers and mages (being long distance attackers) never approach the door to open it. Which I think should be changed, since they do actually run up to the door but never make an actual move against invaders until they open the door on their own.

Remove static Inns.
Make them cost 100 Wood to build.
Problem Solved.

Remove domains and continents.

Increase experience gains 200%

Wipe every two days.

Wouldn't that end up in non-stop WT? Since all the monsters are on the continents..

Argo isn't connected to NI.

Wouldn't be accessable.

Just a random idea I was thinking about earlier.

Fresh starts weekly. Different people grouping up. Etc...

Maybe add some domination, king of the hill, CTF type games.

NB always has been the most complete and fun area of the game (for me anyway). Everything else just seems like pointless grinding.

That is what FFO is in essence. Tons of EXCESSIVE grinding.

If it didn't take a super long time to grind to the top people would complain that there's "nothing to do," as if grinding 90% of the time to enjoy the real fun that happens 10% of the time makes any sense whatsoever.

The only problem with that statement is that it assumes people all hate grinding.

I personally love the grind, if only people would do it more often and in riskier areas than just FrG's or desert.

Either way, FFO is a huge timesink and when it's through with you, you'll have nothing to show for it.

Just like most games.

It's what they're made for. To pass time.

That's debatable. I disagree that the majority of games are modeled in this fashion.

It's also debatable whether or not FFO is even a game.

I do agree games are made to have fun with your time.

Please do name three games where playing it will benefit a majority of its players in real life in the long run, other than entertaining them for a period of time. Metagame things such as achievements and gamerscore do not count, as those are not tangible benefits.

I daresay that if FFO is not a game, then I must ask what it truly is.

Just remember, what you play on here is a game, so no need to take things crazy seriously about it.

If we're secluded to NI i want to see a 600% increase in experience gains at the least...but either way it would be fun, the only high level **** you ever get will be from impailer and garland, and no one wll have time to work on badass suits of armor...If you do this you should also remove the personal level cap
