So I just now went and re opened every single long since read topic here in Terulia Forum Service: Main, since when the name switchover happened I got flooded with New post icons from every single part of the forum. Opening a good 60 or more topics made me think, "Gee, it would be lovely if we had a button to clear off all new post notifications from a forum or subforum set".

I'm sure the other people like me who actually use those new post notifications to track current forum activity would also appreciate such a button or option. I'm not talking about a blanket toggle to permanently enable or disable notifications, just a "clear all current" type of magic button, you could place it at the top of each subforum and forum to control just how much of an area a person wanted to clear the notifications from.
