Alright i've thought about this for a while and i was wondering if being able to bind the F keys to Quick slots would add conviency to gameplay. Them simply being binded by default wouldnt work due to F1 and 2 being Screenshot and Options menu, and F12 is counted out too because its swap. It being optional and bindable to any of the Function keys that arent taken up could work. If you were to alt click a quick slot, you get the option to choose the function keys between F3-F11, and you get to choose what mouse button on the hud the quick slot is binded to.

For instance lets say i want F3 to prime Cure on my right mouse button, I alt click the slot containing cure, then i select the Function key i would like to bind it to which would be F3, then i select which mouse button i bind it to so i select right. So when ever i click F3, Cure is bound to my right mouse button. It might not be that important but it would simply add conviency to gameplay (Especially those who have oversensitive or crappy mouses IE me and tend to misclick which spell they cast).

And also lag makes it hard to tell if your spell got selected or not so this makes for good things

Isn't there a function like this already? And couldn't you macro something like ".click Roundhouse" to a key? I remember doing that once before.

actually F1-F11 used to prime corresponding spells/abilities/items on your quick select bar.

Then the new BYOND screwed with that, as did the 2 button prime system.

Would be kind of nice to see this re-implemented to some extent however.
