ok. im a red mage. level 13

all my ele spells are identical, cure is where it has to be.. and i only have one status spell.

originally i had air imbue. before i went to get my second ele, i switched air out for lit. soon after i went to aldeae and got earth imbue.

long story short, i have fear.. but no sleep. is this a bug?

thats just the thing.. was i supposed to get fear so soon? it might be that because i switched the element, i got the stat spell without having other proffed spells.. oooooooooooor i should have both.. so i need someone who actually knows.. so i can tell them all my proffs, so they can tell me whats what.. or gaku, the all knowing..

He told me his profs. I can't figure out what hes missing. It seems like everything's the same on both his elemental trees, so I can't imagine why he'd have one but not the other.

Just adding a note. When i was talking to him in-game i had him move around his spells cause sometimes they get under one another, yet it wasn't there. I see no reason why he shouldn't have it either, as locke said the trees are identical and to the lvls where he should have both elements.

so heres the thing..

i just proffed other spells and i got sleep. i shouldnt have gotten fear so soon. the bug is in swapping the first element before having any other spells. the requirements are assumed cuz its switched usually later in the game? (or something)

I can't make sense of your bug report.
Is this reproducible? Is this even worth fixing in FFO?

i think it is, because if you switch out youre first element before you get youre second one, you dont need to proff poison to where it needs to be for the status spell.

its simple really.

i had air imbue. used air for a short time until i swapped it for lit imbue.

after finally getting my second element, which was earth imbue, i started proffing for status spells. only proffing cure and lit imbue gave me fear. so i proffed earth the same as lit, i got no status spell.

after finally proffing the right spells, i got sleep.
