This issue happens to me all the time, although half of the time my byond pager refuses to even work right.

One of two things should have happened to cause this problem.

~One, you have a Bus-virus that has tampered with your configuration, they usually latch on to obvious programs like msn or other IM programs, and byond is not exempt to this. Although byond doesent even need to be infected with this Bus-virus to cause the issue...

~Two, your PC has Instant-Restarted(Similar to crash) and can be caused by virus', crashed, Hard-Rebooted,frozen for an extended period of time, or black screened due to low msu, a simple problem is to fix your computers Date & Time Properties. Even if there is nothing wrong with your Properties, still change them and then set them back to the right time. I dont remember why because byond is super retarded, but this somehow fixes it.

If the second thing is not your problem in this case, then check all of your obvious on the remove/change programs thingie in the control panel, if you see something extra that you did not install on any of your programs simply remove it, some simple bus virus' are pretty much Ads, and if you have Memmory space problems with your PC, it can either **** up your pc, and or Cause problems on under ~Two

But usually when i have that issue, byond refuses to even let me log in...
