So currently the Siege Mode time is everyday from 8pm-1am EST. This is fine and all but personally I think it's way to long. People don't want to have to spend 5 hours of their day defending a domain if they were at war.

Also I don't like the fact that right now as it is, you'd have to stay up at night to protect it from "terrorist" or rebel groups who don't have a domain and wouldn't be effected by destroying towns people built up.

I don't know what people's schedules are like and I am sure we would all like to have fair times where we can indulge in PvP domain wars and peaceful times to train and reinforce defences.

So yeah, just as my suggestion goes here it is:

Weekdays: 5pm-8pm.

Weekends: 5pm-12am.

What do you guys think? I don't think people like to stay up all night just to protect their domains from "terrorists" or enemy domains. Work is important and seeing as how Guards and the Army is a lot weaker now it would help towns be more stable.

This helps solve part of the luring problem of mobs, and rebel groups who like chaos.

I think those times are fine, except the one on the weekend seems a little long. We still do stuff on the weekends as well.

Looking toward the future, I have this idea.


I doubt it would be added to FFO because its more involved than changing times, but it might be interesting going forward to Terulia:

1. Figure out a good set amount of time, whether its two hours or five or what not.

2. When a domain is conquered or changes hands, allow the owner to set the time it can be attacked. Require it to be at least a certain minimum. So say the time is 5 hours. They have to set it to be 5 hours, but they can choose when. They only get to do this once, and to prevent abuse it could be set to be once per IP per month (in the event that their schedule changes, but to prevent constantly changing it.)

3. Have the times posted on a bulletin board somewhere in Argo, or something similiar, so everyone can see them.

This way, it would work around the Lord's schedule, because being around to babysit a "live" domain is a lot more difficult than staying up one night to destroy it.

"weekends" should be Friday and Saturday, when people can stay up late. Sunday should be like a weekday.
