Particularly Argo guards. I personally haven't seen this issue anywhere but Argo; the Argo guards can be dragged out of Argo and running around while they attack mobs has a tendency to have an insanely high champ rate. Does not seem to work for domains.

I remember Xuo talking about some sort of thing like this. He believed that it was a mechanic of some sort that, when enemies are on-screen, the guards are considered in your 'party' (how else would they be able to Heal you and all the other guards?). And the more people in the party, the more spawns, and the bigger chance of champs.
Like I said, this is what Xuo figured out. Dunno if its an actual game mechanic or just a theory, but I've noticed a noticeable increase in Argo spawns whenever guards are near me. _________________________________________ |

It's likely a built-in mechanic to work like that but either way I have seen a couple of people abuse it for fast champ rates around the Argo entrances.
