As soon as I hired a level 3 guard hoping he would help deal with excess spawns or trouble makers, I never saw where he went. I also soon never saw my default level 1 guard anymore. Wondering where they went, I looked around and found them to be in the place shown below.
This spot is in the far NE corner inside the castle, and the guards seem to be attracted to the very NE corner of the walls in this spot and inside the room nearby. Whether mobs were spawned or not, they would continue to pursue this fascination with that corner. I decided to attempt to bear bow the level 3 out to see if he would help outside, or run back in. After a long time with him still attempting to return to that spot, I got him outside, and he hasn't run back in yet. My only fear is that if he wanders inside the castle again, he won't come out. It is a HUGE pain to go through the effort of bear/pounding guards out of that spot, and I only have TWO guards right now. Now I don't have a way to suggest fixing this, and I don't know what's causing it (only thing that I can think of is where the interior of the castle is on the map), but I would really appreciate it if you looked into it when you have time, because I understand that you are preoccupied with dealing with this new allowance system.
