Rumors have stirred, both at home and abroad of a weapon forged anciently that wields power to shape all existence. Last known to be held by Sagatume Tipiao the revered queen of Irendi many generations ago, the knife (if it truly is a knife) has since vanished. Lore says that the hideous priests of Vorgardia trapped the queen and disposed of her, and have coveted the knife for centuries in shadow and deceit.

Many searchers have been sent to locate this artifact, and none have found success. That is, until now when a book has been found. The book dates back to the proper time and locale of the scene of the Great Wars between the sister nations of Irendi and Vorgardia. An enchantment keeps all but the ruler of Irendi from opening the contents of it....
