With the new enchantment resistance update, casting... probably anything on self but so far definitely Temper and Beef-up, it wears off ****ING INSTANTANEOUSLY.

I tested it further with a WM and myself after about five minutes of not casting Temper at all. By the time Temper had worn off on the WM, I had cast Temper about 30 times on myself, including towards the end just holding the mouse down for a while until my mana ran out.

The issue is only on casting on self. It was slightly apparent last server when Mage armor was changed that casting beneficial status spells on self was really wonky, and now it's just plain broken.

That's why I said a recoil/cooldown was preferable to increased enchant resistance and that a blanket fix for all status spells would be ****ty.

yeah I kinda thought each spell was different. It should be that way... for spells like beef up that are incredibly short and can only be used on yourself, at least... And being able to literally spam cast temper is obviously silly as well.

Increasing enchantment resistance increases spam rates which is the opposite of what we were trying to achieve.

Sure it makes the spells less effective but that just means the other side will cast them more. In the end you're still disabled.
