Experience has been replaced with purely natural profs. As you go out and battle enemies, you will obtain "Allowance", which allows your abilities to prof as you use them. The proficiency trainers now only show up in Domains and will tell you what level and how close to increasing your proficiencies are.

protip: use "is" for singular subjects and "are" for plural subjects. only then can you pass the 4th grade.

not gonna lie... I did the exact same thing.
also can't say I'm a huge fan of the change either... at first, they just said they moved them to player domains only to 'encourage people to move on' (completely disregarding the fact that someone can't miss something unless they already knew about it...) then I realized experience is no longer there anyway... so now it's like... so your telling me, having the ability to tell what level one of your prof's is at without waiting for it to level up... is a 'player domain only feature'? wth? and then there's system change itself... I loved how you could actually level what you wanted to level, using the experience system. thought it was really unique and cool. ... now I'm stuck trying to level pray to level up... and may as well not use my actual attacking ability because it's already maxed... because, you know, it's my main attacking ability. and had I not known already about the prof cap to your level... I'd be calling serious wtf's about why it won't go up... seriously guys... there's a fine line between 'letting someone figure stuff out for themselves' and just not giving someone the info that they really do need to play a game properly... idk about you, but when I play a game 'how to level up' isn't exactly something I want to be worrying about how to figure out how to do, which is exactly what I may still be doing even now, had I not realized the 'exp bar' only went up when my prof's did. --edit: oops... I didn't realize how old this thread was... not exactly used to checking dates on something that's on the 1st page, heh. ah well... I guess it all really doesn't matter considering. I just really hope that you don't continue this in terulia... otherwise I almost guarentee, your gonna have trouble getting new people to play it, which is -never- a good thing. _________________________________________ |
