It has come to the admins' attention that a bug was abused to create duplicates of stone, wood, and gold. Those involved will receive the appropriate punishment.

However, if you admit to abusing the bug in this topic, as well as making a public sincere apology for weighting the game in your favor in an unfair manner, your punishment will be shortened. You have 24 hours from now to admit your sins before the bans are delivered.

Furthermore, anyone who attempts to pawn off gold using various methods to be re-obtained after the ban's end will find themselves with a solid permanent ban.

Additionally, you may be allowed to submit a one page essay on "Why it is unfair to abuse bugs" to further reduce your sentence.

Ban lengths will be determined once the last admin is consulted in this matter.

I admit to having used this bug in the past. The exact context was that someone had mentioned it could happen and I figured such an easily exploitable bug was definitely ironed out, but nope, it certainly worked.

I did -not- further abuse the bug. I simply tested to see if it existed. To restore balance due to the tipping of the scales of my idle curiosity, I proceeded to then give the gold and duplicated material to an NPC Blacksmith without informing anyone of what had occurred.

I did not report this, as it was apparent it was an obvious bug. I figured publicly posting about it may further encourage said bug, but I probably should have PM'ed someone about it.

I made no gain off of this bug as I felt if I did so, I'd be lord of the douchebags and none of the anything I'd do would matter or be worthwhile. Since I did take appropriate steps to clean up the mess (as far as my judgement conveys, if I am wrong then my bad), I do not feel particularly bad about doing this. I apologize for not mailing anyone about it, but I didn't exactly feel it needed at the time.

Then again this was quite some time ago, so I'm only assuming that super early in the wipe people are emerging from the shadows with like fully built towns and guilded gates, as well as bags of gold so heavy they leave a skidmark in the wake of their owners, so I'm pretty sure you aren't including me in that.

But none the less, here is my sin, plain for all to see.

Yeah i duped gold never really to OH GET PERFECT GEAR OH MAX MY ARMY thats not any sort of excuse and id like to also add that none of my gear is above grand besides my staff but that again is beside the point i know this stuff is wrong and me personally should know better because i was there when masha had like 5 grand bladed tonfas (whatever number) i dont know how far my apoligy will go but im sorry. well cats out of the bag eh? yeah, we did it, i mostly used it for the actual domain building lmao cause I'm lazy. But yea i admit it is wrong, could check my gear, only 1 armor is at fine same for the weapons reasonably. once again doesn't make me right. ;P

Sankora and Giant's Helm are broken, using this bug made it so it cant produce any income at all due to building negative shops.

Thank you to those who confessed here. Moirai's and Niten's ban sentence will last for 7 days after the time of their ban, not including the days FFO is down.

As for Thebest12, he will be banned for 14 days, also excluding the days FFO will be down. If ya wanna keep your mouth shut, don't get caught.
