Dual wielding is pathetically slow on black belts.. as martial artists it seems sort of backward that ninja are faster at proffing it while masters have problems just getting decent levels of it.

Black belt should get buffed dual wielding profs.

Fighters are also a melee class, and although they aren't dual wielding experts they have about as traumatic a time proffing it as mages do. That's dumb. Fighters should be buffed to nearly what black belts have right now before their buff.

I agree. IMO BB should level just about equally with Thief on it (one of the few glorifying traits of the thief/ninja in FFO seems to have always been how quickly it trains DW but as someone who's definitely felt the pain of how weirdly slow it is to level on BB, a class equally as defined by DWing as thief, it just feels bizarre that they're not roughly equal on that front). And I like the idea of it being remotely viable on a knight -- I know it's supposed to be difficult on them because they're supposed to consider themselves tanks and go with beefy 2handers if they wanna DPS, but it should be at least a decent amount easier than on mages. In fact, I would feel it rather logical to have Fighters level it at a rate not much slower than BBs currently do.

And especially with how DWing has worked since a couple years ago when it was changed so that you can DW any two weapons you can wield normally, but you just miss 75% of the time until your DW's high enough that you would be able to dual wield them in the old system or whatever. It feels weirdly implemented so that you miss all the damn time with anything until it's decently high, and then you never miss with anything ever again. I really dunno what was wrong with the old system where you just plain couldn't dual wield things until your DW was high enough. How it is now it's annoying for even a thief to use anything but small knives until it's at least level 10-15 or so unless you like missing almost every single attack. I'd just about use two-handers or sword and board if DWing weren't so powerful -- which is why it's so hard to train, I get it, but at least classes like thief and BB should be able to do it pretty readily.

reply to Elias:

For fighters.. 2 handers still hit harder with charge, cleave, and gcleave, but I just want it to be viable on my knight for training for me to dual wield a couple of iron nunchucks instead of paying repairs on a warlord blade.. doesn't seem like too much to ask for IMO.
