So as we all know, higher level items were given higher values, and dragon drops were nerfed, and dragon stats were buffed.

The last ember I killed, about 15 minutes before posting this.. was the 11th ember I've killed and probably the 40-50th dragon overall. Obviously they are killable with these buffed stats:

Ember Wyrm - level: 32
HP: 584/29858 MP: 4/1063

To clarify the magic resist varies a lot with level.. my water 2 on this guy did about 135 whereas on the level 28 I do about 200 with water 2. My water 2 is prof 59 and I use a fine power staff.

This isn't the issue. I actually think dragons being challenging is fine.. however their rewards aren't.

Right now the average gold drop I see from dragons is 11k, and that's one in every 7 or so. In ALL of the dragons I have killed I have only gotten 3 item drops.

The repairs for fighting dragons with this much HP are a lot more than the rewards... Killing just 2 embers put Me, Dricen, and Tairn at a combined repair bill of around 80k.

What I'm suggesting is that dragons have a constant gold drop... 11k is the average gold drop... and killing 1 dragon is usually more than that in repairs per person. But it would make doing them at least somewhat feasable. The drops are in no way remotely comparable to Garland, who even with nerfed drops is putting out Archwizard and Royal Speeds among other drops. I haven't spawned a Champion Dragon yet... but honestly I don't want to because the cost of killing it would probably outweigh the drops tenfold, especially considering that it would probably spawn with more, regular dragons.

I am also vouching that ember dragon HP get nerfed back into place with frost dragons considering that they now resist lightning and chain lit will never 4-shot them again. They are actually harder to kill because you can't firewall them.

Garland drops are incredibly superior to anything dragons drop.. and it is by no means difficult to make a level 40 character to do Garland on.

The moment garland gives you better drops than dragons, in higher quantity and with not even a tenth of the repair bill, you may as well say. Screw dragons. Lets make garland alts and not even try to fight them.

They dropped CRIMSON. Which you could buy in shops before the shop update. Endgame mobs shouldn't be giving items barely above mid tier. You can get their drops and better from champs. Especially snowmen.

I agree for them having a common gold drop of some kind. Or at the very least get their drops back or get nerfed statwise. One of the two but not both.

Nobody needs you to run to floor 5 ruins in dark gear and spam steal DDs because ninja speed is broken so **** can never catch you anyway.

to be honest, dragons still shouldn't be able to be killed by a party of three, considering dragons are endgame monsters. i'd say increase magic damage done by dragons, and by mindflayers down there, but increase drops

another suggestion, all dragons are semi-resistant to poison so you cant just kite with 100+ poison tics

Frosts and embers already are semi resistant because of mres.. and you can't put tics on DDs at all.

Yeah, those tics are possible nobody denied.. but at this point the only way to do that would be with a knight and a poison sword... as my prof 56 p3 and power staff will at very very max hit 80 tics on a frost and not for long, usually closer to 50-60. And only if it's a lower leveled one.

Ninja MW damage hits harder on the high level ones... and yeah my tics themselves are weaker because the main hits are weaker overall on the high mres ones.

Nobody has broken 100 tics on dragons with anything so far this server though sooo... gg brah.

Nah we took them to like 3k hp then Shane the GM Failure of the Ages teleported some useless guy on top of one of our WWs so she couldn't ether. And that's how we died. With them at 3k hp. We would have went back but sadly there was a pwipe like 2 minutes after. They had been holding it so we could do the fight.
