You have two options. One will work, the other will not.

OPTION ONE (Failure): Cry on the forums about how X is bad, or Y Admin scuffed your shoes.

OR

OPTION TWO (Success): Successfully get a vote going of everyone demanding the return of Current FFO and not "Perfect-Version-FFO".



Why will Option One fail?

Because this version is perfect in all ways, as determined by you, the players. This includes admins and any features such as being able to ban yourself via using the Relog verb. Any changes would clearly be detrimental to this version, and thus must not ever be done.



Why will Option Two succeed?

Because then you will have a version that will be edited and updated, instead of the current version thrown up to get crybabies to quit making temper tantrums akin to what a toddler does when mommy says they can't have candy when at the grocery store.

if you mean current as in that throw up version of ffo which consisted of allowance, natural proffing, and all in all general ***ness then hells the **** no. People want a game thats FUN to play not one thats a like a prison sentence. According to FFO "oldbies". Those are also the only people that came back after the revert except for a few newbies that joined for a day or two via 4chan advertisement.

Yes, if FFO was able to be public again there would be more "newbies". The same goes for the newer version as it does for this revert though.

terulia/New FFO were HORRIBLE many players wouldnt even look at it. Gaku should be smart and take the 3.5 host files and work off those and make a good game. end of story

many player did not come back who were going to because they were informed it would be the 3.5 hosting and when it was in fact not they said "oh **** that then".

A reminder: As it currently stands, FFO cannot be advertised on BYOND, and current advertisement such as 4chan spam crap from some people can only result in Gaku getting a Cease and Desist order from using their IP.

Restoring "3.5" days will never happen.

FFO cannot succeed as a whole due to the inability to grab new players. Both the updated version and the "PerfectFFO" version cannot recruit new players except via word of mouth. This will not work as a whole, so saying "Bring back 3.5, WE WILL HAVE FIVE THOUSAND PLAYERS!" will never work.

Anyway, as this thread was not for discussion, but to remind people that PerfectFFO cannot be changed, only the NewFFO can be changed, thread will be locked.
